Any device with a web browser can show a Bustempo board. Open the URL, go full screen, done. Below: the three setups we recommend, every URL option, and an embed snippet generator for your website.
Search the station, choose options, copy the URL. Add &key=YOUR_LICENCE_KEY once you have subscribed.
| arrivals=1 | Show arrivals instead of departures. |
| rotate=1 | Alternate departures and arrivals every 15 seconds. |
| lang=en|de|fr|es|it | Interface language (station and city names stay as published by Flix). |
| theme=dark|light | Colour theme. Dark is the default and best for TVs. |
| walk=7 | Minutes on foot from your door to the station. Departures you can still reach get a green bar; the rest are dimmed. |
| rows=12 | How many rows to show (default 12 on screens, 6 in the embed). |
| name=Your+Hostel & logo=URL | Branding bar with your venue name and logo (Venue plan). |
| key=… | Your licence key. Removes the "Powered by Bustempo · trial" ribbon. |
chrome --kiosk --noerrdialogs --disable-session-crashed-bubble --incognito "https://bustempo.com/screen/dcbaaee6-9603-11e6-9066-549f350fcb0c"
shell:startup) so it launches on boot.raspi-config (Display Options).~/.config/wayfire.ini (or ~/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart on older images):[autostart] board = chromium-browser --kiosk --noerrdialogs --disable-infobars --incognito https://bustempo.com/screen/dcbaaee6-9603-11e6-9066-549f350fcb0c
Tips: a 1920×1080 or 4K TV in landscape gives the best result; the board also works on tablets. Keep the device on wired network or strong Wi-Fi; the board shows "Connection lost" with the last update time if the feed is interrupted and recovers automatically.
Paste this snippet where you want the board. It renders a compact, self-sizing widget. The station and options above are used.
